"The driftwood sculpture really caught people's attention from the corridor. Especially children, who then ran in to find out what it was. One kid explained to his mother that this ring of driftwood was over a million years old and was found at the beach in this shape. Other people thought it might be a Torry seagull's nest, a ring of fire or a ritualistic object ("if you go in here and jump three times you'll get a pay rise"). Your work got people talking and imagining!"
